Ingredients
- 1 Deli Kitchen Lebanese Style Flatbread
- 1kg Keepers Cut of Beef
- 1 tsp oil (to sear the beef)
- 200ml beef stock
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp onion granules
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1⁄4 tsp cracked black pepper
- 3 tbsp smokey barbecue sauce
- 1 handful of butterhead lettuce
- 2 tbsp coleslaw
- 1 spring onion
Method
- Heat 1 tsp oil in a frying pan on high heat. Add the beef and sear on all sides.
- In a jug, mix beef stock with tomato paste, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, onion
granules, chopped garlic, and cracked black pepper. - Transfer the beef to a slow cooker and pour the beef stock over the top. Close the lid
and cook on high heat for 6 hours or low for 8 hours until the beef is falling apart. - Remove the beef from the slow cooker and shred. Pour 5 tbsp of the cooking stock from
the slow cooker over the beef. Add 3 tbsp of your favourite smokey barbecue sauce and
mix well to coat the beef. - Take the Deli Kitchen Lebanese Flatbread and place the butterhead lettuce on top.
- Next, add the coleslaw, a serving of the shredded beef and spring onions to finish.
- Serve and enjoy!
