  • 1 Deli Kitchen Focaccia
  • 500g ground beef
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs
  • 400g chopped tomatoes
  • 50g cheddar cheese, grated
  • 50g parsley, chopped


  1. In a bowl, mix beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Shape into 1-inch meatballs.
  3. Heat oil in a pan on medium. Add meatballs.
  4. Fry for about 10 minutes, until browned on all sides.
  5. Add tomatoes and herbs to the pan and allow to simmer until the sauce is reduced. 
  6. Pile the saucy meatballs onto the Focaccia and sprinkle cheese on top, allowing it to melt before serving.
  7. Top with parsley and serve!
