  • 1 Deli Kitchen Garlic Tear & Share
  • 500g lean minced beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Jar of Tomato Passata
  • 2 tablespoons tomato purée (paste)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 300g spaghetti
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)


  1. Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened.
  2. Add the minced beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  3. Stir in the tinned passata, tomato purée, and dried oregano. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Simmer the sauce for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Before draining, reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water. Add the drained spaghetti to the sauce, along with a splash of reserved pasta water. Mix well to coat the spaghetti in the sauce.
  6. Serve with our Garlic Tear & Share Flatbread, and top with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
