Ingredients

  • 1 Deli Kitchen Lebanese Style Flatbread
  • 200g block of halloumi, sliced
  • 2 tbsp of honey
  • 1 tsp of chilli oil
  • 1 tbsp of pickled red cabbage 
  • 1 tbsp of hummus
  • Pomegranate seeds, to garnish
  • Fresh coriander, to garnish

Method

  1. In a small bowl, combine the honey and chilli oil to create the hot honey sauce.
  2. Fry off halloumi slices on each side, then drizzle over some of the hot honey sauce (saving some for later) and let this bubble away for 2 minutes.
  3. Take a Deli Kitchen Lebanese Style Flatbread and cover with a large dollop of hummus.
  4. Place the coated halloumi slices on the flatbread, then top with pickled red cabbage, pomegranate seeds and coriander.
  5. Finish with a drizzle of the leftover hot honey sauce, then serve!
